Ethical Policy

We at Livingstone International are proud to represent a fine and progressive factory in Proline throughout the world which is ISO 9001:2000 certified and operates to the highest ethical standards approved and certified by WRAP, Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production.

We operate the same ethical standards throughout all of our suppliers wherever they may be and all of them are regularly monitored and inspected to ensure that they comply with regard to minimum wages, working hours and safe working conditions.

No use of child labour, employment of anyone under mandatory school age or anyone under the age of 15 is contemplated. All ecological considerations are required to be taken into account and all cultural differences are respected. Livingstone supports the development of legitimate workplace apprenticeship programmes for the educational benefits of younger people

Adherence to local laws governing all aspects of ethical and ecological production is a pre-requisite with all of our partners and that is overlaid by our own concerns in these matters.

These standards are at the heart of our commercial practice.
